Coconut oil has become one of my biggest obsession lately that I’ve doing so much research on it and found so many diy uses for it. Coconut oil is so versatile and has a lot of benefits.

Here are 10 ways to use coconut oil.

  • Deep conditioning hair treatment:

Rub some coconut oil between your hands, then apply it to your ends and work your way up. Once done comb through your hair and tie your hair into a bun and wash out in hour. Coconut oil restores dry and damaged hair, making it silky smooth an soft.

  • Makeup Remover:

Coconut oil is great for removing makeup around the eye area as it won’t irritate your eyes and it will give extra hydration to your skin and prevent wrinkles! All you do is apply some coconut oil to a cotton ball or makeup remover pad and gently remove the makeup around your eyes.

  • Body Scrub:

Coconut oil can be used to make your own body scrub and all you need to do is mix some coconut oil with brown sugar to reveal smoother skin.

  • Shaving Gel:

Coconut oil will help prevent ingrown hairs and razors burn, all you do is apply the coconut oil to your skin, shave an pat dry and it will leave your skin feeling smooth.

  • Homemade Face Mask:

Whip up some coconut oil and honey for a hydrating, antibacterial face mask. Leave on for 15 minutes, and then rinse.

  • Teeth Whitener:

Use coconut oil as a natural toothpaste. Mix a bit of coconut oil with baking soda to make an all natural whitening toothpaste.

  • Sunburn Soother:

Coconut oil helps with sunburn. So apply some coconut oil to sooth your sunburn and moisturize your skin.

  • Lip Balm:

Coconut oils helps with dry cracked lips. Dap a Q-Tip into some coconut oil and apply to your lips for smooth, soft lips.

  • Cheek Bone Highlighter:

Use coconut oil instead of makeup to add shine to your cheek bones and eyelids to give you a natural youthful glow.

  • Detox Bath:

Create a detox bath with coconut oil by adding ¼ cup of Epsom salts with a ¼ cup of coconut oil into a hot bath.
